This international, English-language, peer-reviewed journal with a specific focus on clinical cardiovascular pharmacology publishes original articles concerning clinical research, with new and established drugs and methods, as well as meta-analysis and topical reviews.

While the focus is on clinical topics, basic research articles from fields such as physiology and molecular biology which contribute to an understanding of cardiovascular drug therapy are also included, such as articles relevant to new drug development and evaluation, physiological and pharmacological bases of drug action, metabolism, drug interactions and side effects.
