Egyptian Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (EJOMS) is the official publication of the Egyptian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (EAOMS) and is the first specialized journal in the field of OMS in Egypt and the Arab world.

The journal is peer reviewed by a committee of national and international reviewers. The editorial board seeks excellence in the articles accepted for publication. These include research articles, clinical investigations, technical innovations and case reports as well as letters to the editor. A section on educational events under the heading "Calendar of Events" is also included. The journal publishes biannually and may gradually increase its issues according to the number of submitted articles.
